General requirements

Students who wish to enrol in the MSc Programme at Wageningen University must meet the Social Sciences levels for English.

Specific requirements Master International Development Studies

Students with a bachelor (B.A. or B.Sc.) degree in the Social Sciences are eligible for admission to this programme.

Not sure if you are admissible?
If you are not sure that your degree is Social Sciences, please include with your application a description of the courses that you think are Social Sciences.

Are you from a Dutch HBO?
Students with a Dutch professional (HBO) bachelor are also eligible to apply. There is no pre-master in this programme. You may be required to follow a few additional courses as a requirement for admission and will be informed at the time of admission. In that case, the extra courses are followed at the start of the academic year.

Applicants from the Netherlands are advised to apply for admission at the latest before August 1 in order to participate in the programme.
